Description:
On September 28, 1781, American and French troops surround the British in Yorktown. After eleven days of the French and Americans overpowering the British, the British decided to surrender. There were 8,000 British troops at this battle and now that they had surrender, the British had begun to wonder if they were going to lose the war. They soon realized that it wasn’t worth the cost of the war, to keep the colonists and this led to the Treaty of Paris.
