Description:

An inadequately-designed reactor casing for the Split Dragon-class corvette breaches, causing the destruction of the prototype and the original Family Pride shipyard. 100 of the shipyard's crew and workers are saved by the prototype Caiman-class freighter that is also undergoing tests at the facility. The Caiman Project goes on in Cho's Defeat, where it is eventually completed and put into service taking supplies to rebuild the shipyard in Family Pride.

Family Tkr, which ran the shipyard, is held responsible for the disaster that still killed 500, and falls in disgrace. However, some rumors say that the tragedy may have been caused by deliberate sabotage, aimed at 'putting an over-ambitious family in its place'.
