Description:
When the first and second estate locked the third estate out of the meetings determined to stop the constitution the third estate met on a nearby tennis court. The third estate met on a nearby tennis court and wrote the constitution for France. The oath that they swore on the tennis court became known as the Tennis Court Oath.
