The Spanish Armada was a giant fleet of 130 ships that was built twice. Its goal was blockade the English channel and have the Spanish army in the Netherlands boat over and Invade England. The troops were not ready and the boats were forced to cut their ropes and many died in storms sailing around the northern tip of England.Added to timeline:
