nov 15, 1532 - Francisco Pizarro conquered the Inca Empire
Description:
Francisco Pizarro sailed to the northern area of South America and went down to Peru where the capital of the Inca empire was. The empire was weak because their king had just died and a weaker king Atahualpa ruled the empire. Pizarro captured and held Atahualpa hostage while they took over the empire. They later killed Atahualpa and had conquered the Incas.
