Description:

Martin Luther believed, unlike many others during this time, that the selling of indulgences was bad. So, to speak his mind, he wrote down 95 theses denying indulgences and criticizing the Pope and wealth of the church. His thesis was mostly written in Latin, and most people didn't understand them but became very mad when he tacked them onto the Wittenburg Castle church door. His theses caused worldwide discussion and were printed on the printing press. Many people were impressed and the desire to reform grew.
