The protagonists of this movie are the Americans. They were behind 1958, they supported Saddam, and they invaded and they are the reason we are where we are. The British became the tools for the Americans with the Suez War. But in the bigger picture, I believe the British were much better for Iraq than the Americans. They had a positive influence on Iraq and helped build it until 1958. But of course they were colonisers.
