Description:

Description: Colonist, among them Crispus Attucks, were throwing ice at soldiers, and one fell down. He then shot his gun into crowd, along with other soldiers. Left 5 dead and 8 wounded.
Cause: Increased British power in the colonies; colonist were being pushed past breaking point and were taunting British soldiers.
Historical Impact: Attucks died, and British soldiers were indicted for murder. In April 1770, Britain repealed Townshend duties except for the Tea tax.
