Charles Dickens was a British writer who achieved universal fame and became the most outstanding of the Victorian era par excellence, for his epic stories, vivid characters and exhaustive depiction of contemporary life. In April 1836, he married Catherine Hogarth, who published the "Esbozos de Boz" between 1836 and 1837, and then the posthumous papers of the Pickwick Club, and the later Oliver Twist and Nicholas Nickleby. Charles was already a writer.
