The Treaty of Versailles was based on President Wilson's Fourteen Points and it stated that Germany would lose territory, money, and military. Germany signed the treaty anyways and this ended WWI.The Treaty of Versailles is important because it is a reason that Hitler and the Nazi's rose up to power and it ended WWI but might have started WWII.
