12h 10min, jun 14, 2004 y - The Governor drives over the prison's fence, Patricia and Billy are killed. (Issue 47) (Issue 48)

Description:

- Day 331
- The Governor hides and orders one of the soldiers to drive a truck into Andrea which he does. Andrea kills him in the process but the car still crashes into the side of the RV sending her flying off and setting the thing alight. The Governor celebrates which makes some of the soldiers believe that he has finally lost it. He believes they've almost finally won.
- Several soldiers start to retreat and tell the Governor that they can't go on, and too many of them are being killed. At first he can't hear them though when he does he gets angry at the thought of giving up and climbs up the tank, he climbs in and tells Jared to "just drive!" and the tank begins to move forward, mowing over any remaining biters in it's path. Then it crashes over the prison's outer fence, then the second fence, then the innermost fence.
- The remaining members of the Woodbury militia storm inside the prison, one soldier leads the group and orders the prison survivors to be put out of their misery. Rick tells the others to get to the truck while he goes to find Lori, Carl, Judith and Alice. Hershel tells Billy to get down from the guard tower.
- Rick runs inside the prison and calls out for his family. He goes to his cell and finds Alice holding a shotgun to Lori's head. He begs Alice not to kill Lori but she tells him that it was all an act so they could escape, Lori being Alice's prisoner. Lori tells Carl to come out from under the bed and they all hug. They try to escape and Rick takes Carl's bag of supplies so Carl isn't slowed down.
- The Governor approaches three men shooting at Hershel, Billy and Patricia. He orders one to go and check inside the prison for anyone hiding, and then kill them. He obliges and takes a group with him. Patricia tries to convince Hershel and Billy to make a run for it. Philip pulls out his Tec-9 and shoots Patricia in the back of the head which paralyses Billy.
- Hershel grabs Billy's arm and they start to run for the truck. Billy takes a direct shot to the head and goes limp. Hershel stops to help him up before realising his last surviving son is dead and breaking down into tears, oblivious to the danger around him. The Woodbury soldiers stop shooting. Philip approaches one of them and asks him what the problem is. He is ashamed that he just killed a boy and starts to cry. Philip tells him he should be proud because of how many that kid killed himself. The guy gets himself together and moves on.
