may 16, 1963 - Minimal Brain Dysfunction (MBD)
Description:
The Oxford International Study Group of Child Neurology suggested that the term "minimal brain dysfunction" be used instead of "minimal brain damage". Furthermore, this study group also advocated for applying the term to children in smaller, more homogeneous subgroups that were of average intelligence but exhibited learning and behavioral problems. MBD included inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity.
