The Zeno Map was created by Nicolo Zeno who first published it in 1558 in Venice, Italy. The map is of the North Atlantic which is depicted as wildly inaccurate. The phantom islands of Frisland and Estotiland first made it's appearance in the Zeno Map. Despite not being an actual location, Zeno was said to have spent years on Frisland.Added to timeline:
