Civil war which took place in 1930 on the territory of the Republic of China and opposed the faction of the Kuomintang led by Chiang Kai-shek to the opposing faction of Guominjun, itself allied with warlords. It ran parallel to the civil war between nationalists and communists, which began in 1927.
