Description:
Egypt once again split into two kingdoms, and then were invaded by the Hyksos. The Hyksos let Theban rulers continue to rule Southern Egypt as long as they paid taxes, and as a result the Thebans eventually gained enough power and overthrew the Hyksos. However Egypt continued to be split over who gets what land.
