dec 1, 1955 - Montgomery Bus Boycott
Description:
The Montgomery Bus Boycott was when Rosa Parks a black woman decided to sit in the front of the bus instead of the back. Since she did she was thrown in jail for breaking a law. The African-American people did not like that and boycotted the bus stations. The boycott made them change the laws of where you could sit on the bus.
