Description:
In British Columbia 1,500 men went on strike from Unemployment Relief Camps and traveled to Regina, Vancouver and Ottawa. On June 3, 1,000 strikers began the "on to Ottawa Trek" to complain to parliament and to the Prime Minister at the time, R.B Bennett. Only Eight Trekkers were able to pass federal government and represent the others. #economy
