In 1929 the stock market crashed, which then brought on the the Great Depression to Canada and the rest of the world. In Canada millions of people were hungry, homeless and unemployed. In 1929 Canada's GNP was 6.1 billion and by 1933 it had dropped by half at 3.5 billion. Then around 1938 Hitler started buying materials from other countries which got the world back one it's feet again. #world crisis
