Insulin was discovered in 1921 by Frederick Banting and medical student Charles H. Beat. This discovery would be us-full to trite diabetes. In the 1920s, type 1 diabetes could be fatal which is why this discovery would have a strong affect on Canada as it would save lives. Insulin is still used to present day. #Canadian discovery #medicine
