Description:
Iturbide a powerful military official, led the Mexicans to revolt against King Ferdinand of Spain. With the Viceroy replaced and Mexico a lost cause for Spain, ODonoju agreed with Iturbide, and signed the treaty of Cordoba. On August 24, 1821 Mexico was a country free from all rule.
