feb 25, 1945 - (2/25) At 9.30 A.M. the third marine division started its attack. The Japanese line was the strongest point for Japanese defenses. U.S. bought flame throwing tanks to burn the defenders of Japan in their pillboxes. Because of high casualties, the movement of U.S. marines was very slow.
