Description:

Description - Imposed a tax on American colonists that required them to pay taxes on every printed paper. Items such as playing cards were also included in this tax. Similar to the Intolerable Acts this act also made Americans very angry.

Causes - The British needed to collect money to support the army so they turned to the colonists.

Historical impact - One of the many acts that contributed toward ideas of revolution and independence.
