feb 3, 1870 - 15th Amendment

Description:

This amendment was added in order to provide the african-americans with the right to vote, as a way of empowering them.

This amendment, like the previous two also, wasn't very impactful as other laws were put in place, such as ones that required literacy, to prevent the african-americans from voting.
