Description:
The Boston Tea Party was a protest by the Sons of Liberty who dressed up as natives and dumped 342 chests of British tea in the Boston Harbor to fight the tyranny of Britain on the colonies. The Boston Tea Party was caused by acts that the colonists saw as unfair that increased tensions between the colonists and Britain. Because of these events, the Boston Tea Party sparked the American Revolution and built an American spirit.
