Erik performs three ceremonies in one day. First he goes to the High Temple and converts to the Mithraic Church. He is baptized by the Archbishop of Atlantaea and initiated into the mysteries. Next he rides his horse, taking oaths of loyalty from the Huscarls as well as his Vikings and rides to the castle where he marries Beowulf's daughter, Emma, solidifying his legitimacy in the eyes of the Anglo-Gothic nobles as much as possible, and then takes his place on the Bone Throne and takes the Ashwood Crown upon his head. The beginning of the Schyldyng Dynasty.
