Description:
The 3rd and final reconstruction amendment passed by congress was the 15th, which granted all citizens suffrage, however this was not granted to women. This angered many of the Feminist movement who also participated in the abolitionist movement. Also, many Blacks were still restricted voting in many Southern states due to Black Codes.Added to timeline:
