Description:
In his late 30's, Muhammad took to regularly visiting a cave in Mount Hira, on the outskirts of Mecca, to seek solitude and contemplation. In 610, at the age of 40, Muhammad returned from the visit telling his wife he had either become insane or become a prophet because he had been visited by an angel.
The Islam prophet Muhammed was visited by the archangel Jibril, who revealed to him the beginnings of what would become the Quran.
