jan 17, 1767 - Townshend Acts
Description:
A series of four acts where England made it perfectly clear that they had "historical right" over the colonies and will not have any believing any other way. Charles Townshend was the inspiration for the name of the acts as he sponsored the British. One can clearly see the frustration the colonists would be having with these acts. The biggest "deal" was "No colonial self-governments".
