Description:
Social and Economic:
The California Gold Rush began when James Marshall found Gold at Sutter's Mill. This hit ended up making around 300,000 people to migrate to California in order for them to attack this economic opportunity. This caused mass immigration into America, which in turn led to social and economic decreases because now there were more people to sustain in America, especially California.
