After years of searching and training, the SEAL Team Six killed the mastermind behind 9/11, Osama bin Laden. The 40-minute Operation Neptune Spear, ordered by President Barack Obama, was conducted in Abbottabad, Pakistan, in Osama’s large compound. In addition to killing bin Laden, the SEAL Team acquired very useful intelligence relevant to the bombings and the organization of al-Qaeda.
