Description:

The election of President Barrack Obama was monumental because he was the first African-American man to hold office. Accompanied by his Vice President Joe Biden, Obama held office for 8 years. Some of Obama’s greatest accomplishments as President include: The Affordable Care Act, helping cut unemployment by almost 6%, and ending the Iraq War. Obama opened the door for many other minorities (and women) to become the President.
