jun 22, 2017 - Sudden Change: H. Rept. 115-188

Description:

This bill is also called the MILITARY CONSTRUCTION, VETERANS AFFAIRS, AND RELATED AGENCIES APPROPRIATIONS BILL, 2018. This bill was adopted and gave 1.1 Billion USD to the private sector for healthcare, and took that money away from the VA. This allows for the private sector to earn more money from VA patients, but for most Veterans with pre-existing conditions that are extremely bad, most private sector companies don't offer care, and they rely on the VA for healthcare. This essentially means that the VA will not be able to take care of most veterans. This shows how the current administration has little responsibility for Veterans and shows the decline in care for them as well.
