Bushido - Almost meaning ‘Way of the Warrior’, was the code of conduct/ expectation set for the Samurai, slightly similar to chivalry which was set for Knights. This code of conduct kept the Samurai's in order and prevented corruption/ conflict between the government and the Samurais.
