jan 2, 1941 - Organic design in home furnishings winner

Description:

This design was part of a project submitted to MoMA’s Latin American Competition for Organic Design in Home Furnishings. The furniture was to be made of pine with webbing of ixtle. This competition design was developed to furnish the Coyoacán housing project for Mexican farm families in 1947.
