may 19, 2015 - SFA announce they have approved Rangers
Chairman Dave King as 'fit and proper' to hold
a key role in Scottish football despite criminal
convictions, suspended sentence and history
with insolvent member clubs. Noone surprised
SFA compromised footballs reputation to do
so, though legal action the following May later
casts doubt on whether this statement by the
SFA was deceptive
Description:
Despite having 40 convictions for tax evasion, being on a suspended sentence for contept of court and being described by a judge in South Africa as 'a glib and shameless liar' whose word should only be accepted when accompanied by irrefutable evidence. He had also been a Director of Rangers olcdo when it suffered an insolvency event
Everyone in Scottish football perplexed at how
such a decision can be reached under the rules
but unsurprised the SFA found a way to drag
Scottish football reputation lower
