Description:
In 1688, Parliament asks James II's daughter and son-in-law to take the English throne from James II. Parliament does this because Mary II and William III were Protestant and James II was not. When William III and Mary II arrived in England with an army to take the throne, James II fled to France and abjicaded the throne.
