Description:

Basically the english colonists arrived in Jamestown (present day Virginia) in order to start a new life. As a general idea, most of the colonists happened to be men and young boys as in that time period women mostly took part in the house life. Captain John Smith, a rather significant member the settlement, instilled motivation within the colonists in that one who did not contribute to the progress of the settlement did not earn any food and supplies. Therefore, it motivated the colonists to work hard for their earnings.
