The subsequent years were dedicated to developing the hardware and image algorythms, leading to the launch of our ‘Smart Retinal Imaging’ device in 2012. A new, advanced technology that allowed for diagnosis of several retina tissue layers without the need to dilate the eye.The company has as its mission: “Preventing blindness and vision impairment by early diagnosis of eye-diseases”. To reach this aim, the system is especially distributed to OD practices, Optical Retail and Primary health care centers, who generally receive a wide variety of patients. Retina eye-diseases may occur in every population segment and the EasyScan has the capacity to capture them all.
