Description:

Currently in the areas of Pasadena and downtown Los Angeles an outbreak of murine typhus or endemic typhus has been occurred. Caused by fleas found on rats instead of the body lice of epidemic typhus, it is a disease more commonly surrounding the kind of filth that attracts rats to them. Indeed the problem of garbage on the streets and homeless everywhere is connected to this new outbreak.
