Description:

This event signified an ending to the turbulent time in English history when nobles and their houses were attacking and weakening each other. Henry VII’s strong rule and passing of laws preventing private armies solidified England and bolstered the authority of the King. This event is more prevalent than the war itself because it foreshadows the New Monarchs and what a unified kingdom behind a strong King can be (a King like Henry VIII). (Palmer 73)
