Description:

A war fought entirely on French ground between France and England; it was a war that would cause many of the conflicts to continue between these two countries for centuries more. This supersedes the War of the Roses which was mostly an internal fight in England due to the turmoil in the noble class. (Palmer 51) Even though this war started in 1337, it lasted well over a century.
