jan 1, 1530 - Calvinism (1530)

Description:

The Reformation idea that was lead by John Calvin; it importantly stated that people were predestined to move onto eternity and that these people would know who they were. It also lead to Calvinists coming together, for example Geneva, to put religion above the law. (Palmer 85) This sect of Protestant theology is more important than the Anabaptist ideas or those of the Mennonites because it was more impactful in their peaceable gatherings.
