On April 20th, 1999, many lives were taken at Columbine High School. The two responsible for this loss of life were fans of the video game DOOM, a first person shooter about killing demons on Mars. As the media saw the violent content of DOOM, it was 'obvious' that the video game was the cause of the the two boys violent behavior and not a psychotic personality.
