oct 31, 1610 - 95 theses
Description:
Written by Martin Luther in 1517 the 95 theses outlined some concerns and propositions for the church. These theses later became the foundation of the protestant reformation and as such were incredibly important. The document was written in a academic and humble tone but was very provocative regardless. The church found the writings heretical and excommunicated Luther from the catholic church. This lead to the Diet of Worms and eventually to his life project of translating the New Testament into german.
