Description:

After the Ming had ruled for over 200 years, its problems increased. Civil rebellion occurred as things declined in the empire. In 1644 The Manchus people invaded China, and the Ming dynasty collapsed. THe Manchus made a new dynasty called the Qing Dynasty, and their leader became emperor. They upheld confucian values and social structures and restored China’s prosperity. They also expanded China’s borders in Taiwan, Chinese Central Asia, Mongolia, and Tibet. The Qing Dynasty ruled for over 260 years.
