Description:
The successor to Kinemacolor process, the Technicolor process came about in 1916 and used dye-transfer techniques to produce a color print. It was perfected in 1932 using a cube in combination with a camera lens to expose three black-and-white films. Each light beam was phased into three parts of the camera: Green, Blue, and Red.
