Description:
Little is known about Rome's early history because there were no written records so people told legends/stories. One legend was the Romans believed was that they could trace their history to a great Trojan leader named Aeneas who became a ruler in Italy after marrying the daughter of the Latin King. Another legend was that the founders of Rome were orphaned twin brothers raised by wolves. It is aid that Romulus killed Remus because he mocked one of his ideas for a city they were planning and then Romulus built the city and named it Rome after himself.
