Description:
On the 16th September, 1920 a bombcontaining 45 Kilograms of dynamite laced with 230 kilograms of iron weights exploded in the centre of the American financial district, killing 38 and injuring hundreds. The culprits were never found but were largely believed to have been communist/anarchist agents who sought revenge for their comrades deportation. This generated massive fear of ‘The Red Menace’.
