Within an extremely short span of time, the entirety of Europe exploded into chaos and war. Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia, who seeks their Russian ally. Austria-Hungary responds by calling in Germany, who attacks both Russia and France. Bulgaria and the Ottomans also decide to join the German central powers. The Germans decide to attack France by going through Belgium, which forces Britain to join the war due to their alliance with Belgium. The US declares neutrality, and later on Japan and Italy both join on the side of the allies. All because one stupid guy had to assassinate an archduke.
