According to Erikson, this stage in life is marked by
the crisis of integrity vs despair. Because I did good
to the world, I feel integrity while others who
weren't so well may struggle with despair. I am
glad I did my part to play a positive role in society. Those
go through the despair phase have a hard time
accepting their mistakes throughout their life.
